Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple in Amritsar is the holiest shrin of the Sikh religion. It is in the centre of the old part of Amritsar. The Golden Temple sits on a rectangular platform,Surrounded by a pool of
water called the Amrit Sarovar.

the Jallianwala
Bagh National Memorial Trust, which
was established as per the Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial Act passed
by the Government of India in 1951.
- Wagah Border
Wagah is the border that
lies on the Grand Trunk Road between the cities of Amritsar in Punjab, India
and Lahore in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the only road border which crosses
between India and Pakistan. The border is at a distance of 20 kms from Amritsar
and 22 kms from Lahore.

Durgiana Temple (Lakshmi Narayan Temple) is a premier Hindu temple of Punjab (India) situated in the city of
Amritsar. This temple derives its name from the Goddess Durga . It is a few yards away from Railway Station & about 1.5 km. from

Toronto via London and Air Slovakia flies to Bergamo, Barcelona and Birmingham

places. It takes around 6-7 hours from New Delhi via NH-1.
Amritsar is well-connected by bus to most
major cities and the northern areas within a day’s drive. pathankot is about 2.5 hours away and about
100km away, Jalandhar is about 80km from here, Kapurthala (royal city) is about
65km from here and there are daily direct buses to New Delhi, Jammu, Katra, Chandigarh,Dharamsala (once daily, c. 6 hours), etc.You can
find Volvo buses from Chandigarh, Delhi and Katra to Amritsar.
